Our story
We founded Monocle in 2022 after spending our professional careers working on promotions and pricing at Lyft, Instacart, McKinsey and Stripe.
While we had witnessed how effective promotions can be in helping brands grow and delight consumers, we were repeatedly underwhelmed by an outdated and disjointed promotions infrastructure that didn’t allow us to realize the full potential of promotions. It always seemed that everything in our commerce stack was optimized to the cent…
except for promotions, where we resorted to guesswork and were constantly left wondering about performance.
Realizing how common our challenges were, we decided to start Monocle and build the tools we wished we had to run promotions. Our goal is to ensure brands can gain control over their promotions strategy, and do all of it with ease on one single platform:
